iJet’s Two-Way RF Remote Control: Now rule your iPod from 500 feet
Yes, you heard it right, music world has taken leap into a new dimension, the first ever self contained RF remote control for your iPod that allows you to make your selection of artist, track or play lists from as far as 500 feet is here. Its backlit display allows you to view and select songs, artists and play lists. When playing, the iJet’s screen will change to show song/artist or current song/next song. Even though the iJet Two-Way is smaller than a mobile phone, its easy-to-read backlit display shows all relevant information clearly. When the iJet Two-Way is used in an automobile, you can still enjoy fast, accurate music selection with your iPod safely out of sight, isn’t it incredible. For home use, the iJet Two-Way transforms your iPod into the world’s smallest multi-room music server. The remote control even provides full volume control of the attached iPod. A preamp built into the RF base unit provides a variable line level output controlled by the iJet remote itself. Unique to ABT is a patented pass-through connector, which allows the iPod to be charged and synchronized while still connected to the iJet RF receiver. This allows the iPod to be left docked in its iPod base while still being controlled by the iJet remote. In common with all iJet remotes, the iJet Two-Way’s RF transceiver system is powered directly by the connected iPod. Its advanced low power mode ensures minimal power consumption, allowing the iPod to remain fully operational. Where several iPods are being used in the same house, unique RF addresses can be assigned to each remote. This allows each remote uninterrupted control of a specific iPod. Up to 10 iPods can be independently controlled in the same house! Via: Crave
