Sorry guys! Creative is backing off FM radio recording from its portable music players. Above and beyond Creative has released a firmware “update” for its Zen MicroPhoto which adds Audible support and other minor fixes and Zen Vision:M players featuring video zooming and language support, but eliminates FM recording feature from both players.
FM radio is a part of the RIAA’s music collection that desires XM to pay about $150,000 per song. Stringent regulations are not only affecting music companies but consumers as well.
