Freestyle Audio has unveiled Fusion series of waterproof MP3 players that can play music even if they are below 10 feet of water.

The device has been specially developed for the people who cannot live without surfing and music. Music players cannot be used while in water as a single drop can change the whole scenario.

The device has been developed by an electric engineer named Lance Fried who says that the device has been inspired from a Beer cooler. He also states that once he was busy surfing and when he approached his beer cooler his MP3 player went into water and could not be used again. After the incident he decided to develop a waterproof solution to listen to music while he is on the waves.

The device weighs just 35 grams and has four buttons and no display. The small size and the weight make the device perfect for wet suits and can also be attached to a small armband.

The device will cost you around $150 and there is no need for extra software to keep the device running. All you have to do is to plug the device into the USB port of your computer and transfer music and also charge the player.

So the next time you go surfing please check that your MP3 player is waterproof...!
