Microsoft had been saying this all along and now Denver Post has reported the same : Listening to an ipod could kill you! Or at least burn off your ears! Microsoft’s curse took the form of nature’s fury as Jason Bunch, a 17 year old got hit by lightning while mowing his lawn and at the same time listening to metallica on his ipod.



Although in the absence of any scientific proof, scientists deny the Bunch family’s claim that the ipod acted as an antenna for the lightning. The unlucky teenager’s wounds follow the line of his iPod, from his ears down his right side to his hip, where he was carrying the device.



Inside sources suggest that the music on the ipod might have been pirated which again goes to show us how piracy could have more repercussions than we ever thought possible. Microsoft might just use this incident and the victim for it’s next ad campaign this Christmas when it plans to launch it’s answer to the ipod.
