JVC is well known for its electronic products and their exceptional sound quality. It has decided to expand its lineup and has rolled out an Alneo lineup of MP3 players with the C series. Their were no special features that I could find in these DAP’s except for their sleek shape and impressive dimensions of 864411.7mm. These small DAP’s weights just 49 grams and feature a 1.27 inch wide display support 65,536 colors, a support for MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC files, an FM tuner that can also record it. The most astonishing thing is that the video playback function is missing that places the product in the category of handicap products. Still if you are willing to buy it it can entertain you for 19.5 hours with its Lithium Ion battery and can be connected to the host via an inbuilt USB port. The player will hit the market in February with three different capacities of 512MB, 1GB and 2GB. I don’t think I am going for it. what about you? Via: newlaunches

GAJAH presents new clip-shaped MP3 player
If you talk about me I have never heard about a company named GAJAH. However the company is touting a new MP3 player that has been stylishly designed. This small device has been designed in the shape of a clip so there is no real need of having a clip attached to the headphone cord to keep your device hanging by your shirt. The shape is the main feature as we are still lacking a complete specification list of this device. Till now all we know is that the device comes with a stereo Bluetooth headset and a mini-USB connection port. But I guess for a new company this is a great looking device. The company is calling the device as a ‘Snafu Clip’ but I really don’t know what that means too. Via: gadgets-weblog

Apple’s touchscreen iPod rumor was just a rumor
Seriously, I didn’t feel like believing the rumor of Apple going to announce touchscreen iPod today. But now, ThinkSecret has added a note that reliable sources have added that there will not be an iPod update this week. Simply, why the heck Apple will release a touchscreen iPod to steal all the charm of their hyped iPhone? Anyhow, we might expect a 6G iPod later this year. Image

Downloading digital music, therefore, is the latest trend. The worldwide craze of digital music has fueled the rise of hundreds of thousands of websites that let you download your favorite tracks. Though there are many legitimate sites, there are others that are designed to ‘attack’ your computer, and/or steal data. Beware of such websites. How to determine whether a website is genuine or spam? Well, for starters, a genuine website would never ask you to install a ‘download client’, which is actually bundled with malware.
