Archos has announced the availability of its Helmet Camcorder which is compatible to any of the following Archos Media players: 404,504 and 604. The helmet camcorder has a high resolution mini- camera integrated in it and can 640×480 resolution videos in MPEG-4 format directly into the hard drive of the player with which it is attached. It is USB 2.0 compatible that means after recording a video you can directly download it on t your computer. The camera has got light sensitivity function and auto focus and white light balancing. It’s a perfect instrument for extreme sporting enthusiast as they can record their adventures on a video when it is otherwise both difficult and dangerous to do. The product is delivered with a DVR travel adapter and a head band. The high sensitivity of the camera lets you record in near darkness also and the Helmet Camcorder will be available for $150, from this month.
