VoiceSense: PDA for blinds

Thanks to innovation of Japanese-based company, Extra who has developed an exciting Personal Digital Assistant device for blinds, called the VoiceSense. This latest device feature an unique QWERTY protruding keyboard, FM/AM radio tuner, Internet browser with mail function, MSN messenger, MP3 player, AM/FM radio tuner and Wi-Fi connectivity. VoiceSense sports Windows CE operating system and offers vocal guiding system to navigate with simplicity whereas its other specs encompass PIM system with scheduler, alarms clock, tasks (to-do lists), calculator and contact list. It measures 188x77x25mm, weighs 266 grams, and offers SD and CF memory card slots to increase storage capacity. The best part is that users can also write documents on it. The device will hit the shelves next week on July 21st in Japan, with 1560€ price tag. Via: Akihabaranews
